ABOUT THE STAMPSIn the 1850s, the post office required clerks to obliterate stamps using thick, heavy black ink bars (barred numeral killers) so they couldn't be reused. Getting a clean Circular Date Stamp (CDS)
like on this stamp Bangor
mark, where can clearly be read the town name and date without the design being completely ruined by black ink, makes the stamp much more desirable to anyone specially to all collectors. Because this stamp features a clear, readable Bangor town CDS rather than a messy obliterator, it bypasses the low-tier prices easily up to £75.00.IMPORTANT INFORMATIONPlease be aware check whether on the stamp is any overprint. With every overprint you must be aware that forgeries are around therefore, to be 100% sure if stamp does not have attest completed, do that for your peace of mind. Stamp sold as seen.LEGAL DISCLAIMER
