GB 1873 QUEEN VICTORIA
1s DULL BLUE - Pl.1
Mi.34 / SG.118 / Sn.55/ Yt.38, Fine Used
Another SUPERB early stamp of Queen Victoria this time for 2 Shillings in colour DULL BLUE, colour shade "B". Well perforated, unfortunately a little bit out of centre, stamp comes from Plate 1. Stamp seems has not been hinged, come with nice diamond numeral cancel "682" which stand for St. Leonards, Sussex and also Borough Green - Kent (1876). Overall stamp in perfect condition and can be part of any kind of collections even more demanded ones! Catalogue value by SG is of £393.75 (£225.00 + 75% for well perforated and lightly used stamp) for standard stamp without errors.
