ABOUT THE STAMPS
The Four-Corner-Letter Penny Red (SG 43/44) from Plate 120 is a standard Victorian line-engraved issue and is not considered rare or uniquely valuable on its own.
Plate 120 belongs to the mass-produced series of 1d Penny Red Stamps printed with check letters in all four corners starting in 1864.
A typical used single stamp from Plate 120 generally trades for just £1 to £5 depending on condition and cantering.
While the plate itself is common, specialists occasionally track minor constant re-entries, specific town cancellations/postmarks, or scarce errors (such as an inverted watermark) which can elevate the price of a specific specimen.IMPORTANT INFORMATIONPlease be aware check whether on the stamp is any overprint. With every overprint you must be aware that forgeries are around therefore, to be 100% sure if stamp does not have attest completed, do that for your peace of mind.
